Man vs. Art is here to help anyone who wants to become a better artist/cartoonist/animator.

Raul Aguirre Jr. is a sixteen year veteran of the Animation industry who has worked at many of the major Studios like Disney, Nickelodeon, and FOX.  Raul has plenty of experience as an Animator, Clean-up Artist, Storyboard Artist, Character Designer, and Visual Development Artist.  He is an expert in feature and limited 2d traditional/digital animation.

At Disney Raul earned eight feature credits and was chosen by Disney Animation Legend Glen Keane as his protege  on the Traditional/Digital hybrid character Long John Silver for the Disney Feature Treasure Planet.

In 2006 Raul Created, Executive Produced, Wrote, Directed, and  Storyboarded, his own animated short “Hero Heights” for Nickelodeon  and Frederator.

Most recently he self published his own comic book Codename Sparrow and The mini comic Citizen Sanchez. Raul also develops and pitches animation properties to all the major studios.

Raul  posts informative and fun podcasts every other week and  promises to be as honest and open with his words as he is  with his  pictures.
